Anuj assists Anupama in preparing the modak, but she asks him to take a rest as he has already prepared the idol. Anuj insists that Anupama is equally tired and reminds her that he will never let her work alone. Meanwhile, Hasmuk waits for Leela to arrive.
Elsewhere, Adhya helps Sagar with a makeover, making him look more handsome. She teases Sagar and asks him about his girlfriend, but Sagar dodges the question with an excuse.
Back at Anupama’s place, Anuj and Anupama notice that Hasmuk is emotional. Hasmuk confides in them, expressing his concern for the Shah house and his worry over Leela and Vanraj. Anuj suggests that Hasmuk can return to the Shah house if he wants, but Paritosh interrupts, saying that Hasmuk can only come back if he severs ties with Aasha Bhawan. Paritosh refuses to allow Hasmuk to continue going back and forth between the two places. This leads to a confrontation with Anupama, and Paritosh, disgusted with the situation, is humiliated when Anupama causes him to fall. Paritosh vows revenge, while Anupama decides to call Leela to celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi. Anuj reassures Hasmuk not to worry about Paritosh.
